We’re open daily for beginners, pros, and families – come and find us on Leeds South Bank.
City Bloc is an independent bouldering gym and café, easy to reach from the city centre and Leeds train station. We’re on a main bus route, 9 minutes by bike, and have indoor bike storage and free parking on site.
Travelling to City Bloc
Open daily, accessible from Leeds City Centre and just off the motorway, on a main bus route, walking distance from Leeds Train Station and loads of indoor bike storage.
Bike
Bike: 8 minutes from Leeds train station
Hunslet Road has recently become much safer for cyclists, with dedicated cycle lanes leading all the way to City Bloc. We have safe indoor storage for up to 13 bikes as well as a bike pump and repair kit.
Car
Just off A639, use junction for Costco
Ample & secure free car parking – particularly after 5pm on weekdays & weekends.
Blue Badge Holders
Our car park is a short distance from the accessible entrance and the pavement currently lacks a dropped kerb. Blue badge holders are welcome to park on the double yellow lines directly outside – just display your badge, and it’s legal for up to 4 hours.
Please park in front of the building where the mural is, for easier access to both the front and side entrances.

Leeds train station is 1.1 miles – approx 20 minute walk
Bus
These Bus lines stop near Hunslet Road which is a very short away: 110, 12, 13, 16, 229, 3, 49, 51, A1
